Kat is a licensed acupuncturist and facial therapist with years of experience working with clients across a wide range of skin types and concerns.

Her training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, facial acupuncture and massage gave her a deep understanding of skin physiology, how the body responds to ingredients, and why a slow, considered approach to skincare is a must.

Over the course of her career, Kat found herself returning again and again to Korean and Japanese skincare formulations, drawn to their emphasis on skin barrier health, intelligent ingredient layering and long-term results.

Having long been impressed by it’s thoughtful design, innovative ingredients and quality, she is proud to bring you her considered choices to enhance your skin care routine for optimal results.

After years of navigating overwhelming beauty spaces, Kat created 3East as a quieter, more intentional alternative, a place for people who care about what they use on their skin, want guidance they can trust and quality formulations.

3East was born from clinical and personal experience, it is not a dropshipping catalogue or an affiliate aggregator.

Kat firmly believes that consistency in skin care use and the right products for your skin type (which can be very changeable) should be considered your top priority, dipping into trends should always begin with understanding your own specific skin’s needs and concerns.
